“We were immediately greeted and taken care of. We were overwhelmed by the entrance area, the restaurant, the pool area... We arrived before check-in time but could of course enjoy the pool already. We stayed in a Luxury Tent which was great, nice interior, lots of space, terrace, outdoor shower... We also participated in the 4x4 game drive and saw lots of animals - it was great for a first time "safari".”

“We loved the swimming pool connected to the Manor House. It was absolutely amazing to sit there in the water with a glass of wine and watch animals including rhino, wilder beast, zebra and spinkbok walking around on the plains. The main area of the hotel is impressive, with lots of seating areas and 2 pools. The food was delicious and views were stunning. We really enjoyed our game drive and was it far better than the one we went on at Plettenberg Game Reserve. The guide was informative and charming. The bedding was to die for and we loved the complimentary sherry. What a fab touch!”

“Have stayed here before and love it. I have on both occasions booked the tented suite with pool which I love. Can lie by pool and watch the animal come down to the river to drink. Personally I would always book this room. Last time we stayed they had a buffet (not my ideal) and thought this was how it always is in evening. Not the case and had a fabulous meal this time. Wish I had booked to stay longer.”
